My name is Oliver, I'm 25 years old, I'm from London and moved to Moscow two years ago. I have almost four years of recruitment experience, which mainly includes IT and real estate.

I chose IT recruitment because I love business development, building relationships with people, fast paced job and I understand IT is a profitable industry with a lot of variety.

I have always understood that the future belongs to IT.

By the time I finally decide to move into this sphere, I already had experience in recruiting/training personnel.

Sense fell by chance, having learned in profile chat rooms with our head of recruitment. I saw a lot of prospects in Sense, because geometrics is developing literally exponentially.

Well and of course, it has always been important to share the company’s concerns, and in Sense this need has finally come to light

In the work, me and my team try hard not to only use messenger, but also call actively.

We have developed successful negotiation algorithms, written screening scripts, and most importantly, we all love what we do, the team is a second home for us, a family.

In my free time I read self-development books, watch movies on Netflix and of course listen to Jazz and Blues.

IT recruiter Alina Kim
After graduating from law school, I started looking for a job. During the interviews, I realised how much depends on HR - he or she is always the first person with whom a potential employee communicates. I got the idea to try it myself in this field.

Firstly, I love people very much and have been empathic since childhood.

Secondly, it is important to me that I have the opportunity to influence the process.

Thirdly, I respect the competition, it gives me an incentive to achieve the best results. I found all this criteria in the vacancy of an IT recruiter.

Fortunately, SENSE Group gave me a unique opportunity to join the team when I was just a junior. The first 2 weeks I had comprehensive training, I was given a mentor who answered all my questions, supported me in difficult situations and rejoiced at our common victories.

In half a year, I went from an intern to a full-fledged recruiter. Now I independently conduct the entire selection cycle: from the withdrawal of the application to communication with the customer and control of the probation period by the candidate.

At SENSE, we regularly update the list of the most up-to-date business literature on personnel management, recruitment, strategy, management and psychology.

Every Friday, club members gather in our recreation area on the second floor of the office, where they share their impressions of the books they have read on a given topic and make presentations.

Thus, all members of the club can learn not only valuable, useful knowledge, communicating with each other, but also hone the art of argumentation during debates.
Board games
On Fridays, when the working day is over, everyone can stay in our cozy office for board games.

The main enthusiast of these atmospheric evenings filled with lively discussions and humor is one of our team leaders - Stanislav. He brought the first stack of board games, after which the guys actively picked up his aspirations, fairly replenishing our collection of entertainment.

We play “Bunker”, “Mafia” and other games where there is an active discussion, which allows the guys to communicate with each other in a more relaxed way and learn more about other colleagues.

In SENSE we are always attentive to important events in the life of colleagues. We congratulate each employee on his birthday and other memorable dates, such as a wedding.

We also always celebrate holidays on the 23rd February and March 8th, then New Year with large-scale corporate events.

Training
Continuous development is one of the principles we follow at SENSE. Our team brings together experts from different fields of their business who regularly conduct trainings in various areas of IT recruitment.

In addition to the aspects of sourcing, customer service, communication, working with objections and a lot of attention is focused on IT.

We invite specialists from top companies who talk in simple language about the specifics of individual roles or technologies.
Conducting hackathons and events:
SENSE Group, together with partners - the largest Russian IT companies, as well as the technological valley of Moscow State University conducts hackathons and workshops for IT specialists.

Such events help our partners to solve individual technological or business problems, and participants to develop their networking, improve skills, receive a cash prize or an offer to a top company.
Celebrations
Several times a year we hold large-scale corporate events when the whole office, including guys from other cities, gather together.

Celebrating the New Year, we play Secret Santa, congratulating each other with small gifts.

The important holidays of February 23rd and March 8th are not ignored, and we also celebrate SENSE’s birthday every year.
